Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Teller to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash transactions accurately, and support operational efficiency within the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and provide assistance to employees when needed.
- Handle deposits and withdrawals, including receiving and dispensing cash.
- Cash checks accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee drive-through transactions.
- Count, package, and manage currency deliveries.
- Take inventory of cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Conduct foreign currency exchanges.
- Keep client information up to date by updating records when changes occur.
- Create a warm and positive customer experience by greeting clients, addressing them by name, and offering friendly service.
- Balance daily transactions by reconciling deposits and withdrawals and ensuring all processed operations are accurate.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Process electronic transfers after verifying all required documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
- HND or Degree
- Strong cash-handling skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of banking software
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance
- Ability to work in a team
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience
